9 ways with gazpacho

We’ve been having some fun deciding on our favourite toppings for the new Gazpacho soup which is in our shops this week.

Made from sweet seasonal tomatoes, our Chalk Farm chefs add red and yellow peppers, red onion and cucumber to the base soup which is then flavoured with garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, fresh basil and tabasco. The result is a soup that really does transport you to the Med, especially when you can look out on this glorious weather we are having.

We recommend having this soup in the fridge this Summer because it is so versatile. Whether you are having a cocktail party, a light lunch or supper in the garden, there is a serving suggestion to suit each and every occasion. You can also make the meal all the more interesting by serving bowls of toppings for everyone to make their own selection. Add a chunk of Balthazar bread and a glass of chilled Cotes de Provence Rose wine for a really lovely meal.

Here are the toppings we tried but we are sure you will create your own favourite and don’t forget a final drizzle of Podere Fonte Cristiano extra virgin olive oil:
